Tripura University Admissions 2024: CUET UG & PG 2024 dates are now available officially. Tripura University is a Common University Entrance Test (CUET) participating university. Therefore, the university will accept the CUET UG and PG 2024 scores for admission to UG and PG courses in 2024.
Tripura University Agartala has come a long way in its quest for excellence as a higher educational institution in the small state of Tripura: from humble beginnings at the Calcutta University Post-Graduate Wing in 1976 to a state university in 1987, and finally a Central University in 2007. The goal of this university is to " disseminate and advance knowledge via instructional and research facilities." To achieve this goal, the university established the Directorate of Distance Education in 1996. The university is dedicated to developing and empowering the people of this state and area by delivering great education and technological improvements in academic and research activities.
Being a traditional university, Tripura University has taken on preserving and promoting the state's remarkable legacy of indigenous art forms, folk, oral, and multi-dimensional cultural traditions. Tripura University now has two colleges, 44 departments, four study centres, and four departments under the Directorate of Distance Education. The Directorate of Distance Education provides educational assistance to employed and socioeconomically disadvantaged people in the state's remote highland districts.

Tripura University Application Process 2024
The application procedure for Tripura University is entirely online. Students must complete the common entrance exam (TUET) application form and pay an application fee of Rs 800 for unreserved and other categories and Rs 600 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. Candidates must follow the procedures outlined below to complete the online application form:
- Visit Tripura University's official website and choose the 'Admission tab.'
- To the option of 'Online Admission 2024.' Select the same.
- Before filling out the application form, read all the instructions carefully and click on 'Go to Online Application Form.'
- Use a valid email address to sign up. The University will send an email with a password to the email provided by the candidate.
- To access your account, type in your password. After the initial login, change the password.
- Fill out the application form with your personal and academic information.
- Upload the papers listed below and scanned copies of your photographs.
- Pay the application fee for each category to submit the form using net banking and debit/credit card. For the most up-to-date information, visit the website periodically.
- Documents that a candidate must submit with the online application:
- For Indian applicants: Passport-size photograph and Aadhaar card
- For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS: Relevant category certificate

Admission Procedure of Tripura University Distance Education
Admission to the Tripura University, DDE is a quick and straightforward process. First and foremost, students must choose a course they want to enrol in and review its eligibility requirements. Following that, the candidates must do the following steps: -
- Create an account on the DDE, Tripura University's official website.
- Login to the admission portal using the registered username and password
- Complete the form with the required and correct information
- Provide academic information on the provided form
- Upload a current scanned passport size photograph and signature
- Upload all required scanned documents to the portal
- Pay the course fees.
- They may pay by debit card, credit card, or net banking online, or they can draw a Demand Draft in the institution's name and mail it to the University's address.
- The institution will check all of your documentation and give you an email or text message confirming your enrollment.

Tripura University Collaborations
- A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed with the federal government to establish the Dr. Ambedkar Centre for Excellence (DACE), which would give free coaching to students from Scheduled Castes preparing for civil service exams.
- Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik said her government takes action to ensure that children have a bright future. "A hundred university students would get free coaching for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations," the Union minister said during a two-day national conference on women's role in Northeast India's development.
